Knowing You

Hello dear readers, here I am again with another one of these personal love poems, that I’ve been posting recently,… . from a time, when I had a new lady in my life. I thought maybe it’s about time I presented these pieces from my archives. The relationship finished four years ago, so I thought that enough time has lapsed, for me to now show you, another side/story of my life….

Knowing You

I know our time, has only been a few weeks

But our future, seems so much longer

I know our journey, has just begun

But our path, seems so easy to follow

I know our nature, is to be cautious

But our fears, seem to be vague

I know our past pains, are real

But our honesty, seems so pure

I know exchanged words, are free

But our souls, seem to know the truth

A Voice, A First Date

Hello dear readers, I found another folder of my older poems today. I had called the poem booklet, “Honour And Wisdom”.  And here’s another one of these personal love poems, that I’ve been posting recently,… ., from a time, when I had new lady in my life. I thought maybe it’s about time I presented these pieces from my archives. The relationship finished four years ago, so I thought that enough time has lapsed, for me to now show you, another side/story of my life….……I am also presenting this article, on “Go Dog Go Cafe’s” fabulous initiative, Promote Yourself Monday’s….. A Voice, A First Date

The moons glowing, silvery stark

My dream’s a shadow in the dark

She’s a cloud of mystique

I’ve only heard words, on my wrist

The sun’s rising, I’m forlorn

My heart’s been pounding ’til dawn

She’s a pillow, a quiet wish

Only a voice, from an abyss

A new lady, a stranger

The meeting, it’s all arranged

Butterflies flutter, our first date

I shall not be late

An anxious rendezvous

Soon an open book to view

Writing these lines, as I wait

Serendipity, destines our fate

Singing Together

Hello dear readers, I am still browsing through some of my older poems, that I have  stashed away, and not been published by me/nor posted here on WordPress. And here’s another one of these personal love poems, from a time, when I had new lady in my life. I thought maybe it’s about time I presented these pieces from my archives. The relationship finished four years ago, so I thought that enough time has lapsed, for me to now show you, another side/story of my life……

Singing Together

Recalling the coincidence

The fate

Of meeting someone new

She’s a bright light

Fresh as the morning dew

Retelling a story

An eternal saga

Of Life’s ups and downs

She’e invigorated my lost senses

And softened my sad frowns

She’s rekindled my gentle soul

And released my deep inner fears

Together we smile, talking non-stop

Together we kiss, enjoying every drop

Together we touch, absorbing the aura

Together we embrace, singing every mantra

A Different Beat

Hello dear readers, again I’ve been browsing through some of my older poems, that have stashed away, and not been published by me/nor posted here on WordPress. And here’s another one of these personal love poems, from a time, when I had new lady in my life. I thought maybe it’s about time I presented these pieces from my archives. The relationship finished four years ago, so I thought that enough time has lapsed, for me to now show you, another side/story of my life……

A Different Beat

They say, “love makes the world go around”

I think my, “loving world” has just been re-found

My life is madly spinning like a colourful top

Whirling at a humming speed, unable to stop

My once lonely heart, is pounding a different beat

Throbbing from inside my chest, to the soles of my feet

This surprising emotion of sharing all my deepest love

Could have been ordained by my angel, there high above

Love Again

Hello dear readers, I’ve been browsing through some of my older poems, that have not been published/nor posted here on WordPress. And there’s a number of these personal love poems, from a time, when I had new lady in my life. I thought maybe it’s about time I presented these pieces from my archives. The relationship finished four years ago, so I thought that enough time has lapsed, for me to now show you, another side/story of my life……

Love Again

You gave me your mountain of love

You showed me the valley of passion

You gave me your river of happiness

You showed me your ocean of kindness

Who am I to deny you

Now, I cannot resist you

Now, my life is you

Now, I feel lost without you

You gave me your sunshine for living

You showed me the moonbeams warmth

You gave me your world of devotion

You showed me love in slow motion

After the hard rains

Now, is my time again

Now, I’m awake again

Now, I’ve found love again

On The Wings Of A Dove

On The Wins Of A Dove

How do I write to you

With these tears blurring my sight

Five months since my heart left your home

Your hot summer has been and gone

Oh, to be beside you

To hold your warm hand

You may hear my chest beating

Echoing, from over there

The rumbling is not a broken ache

More that of a loving heavy throb

A longing, pumping thump

Oh, to be beside you again

To see your adoring smile

I miss our knowing talks

Me, reciting to you

With that sparkle in your eyes

Oh. to be beside you still

So, I send you this letter

On the wings of a dove

I miss our united love

Evaluating Her Moon

This week’s Word Prompt is: EVALUATE. Please click >>HERE, to visit the Weekly Prompt’s fabulous site…

Evaluating Her Moon

I’m evaluating her moon, that flooded my heart, when I tried to find her heaven

Calmly relaxing here now, below a morning moon, in my verandah writing haven

Finally feeling warm and comfortable, and spring is in the air

My outdoor speakers are resonating my musical flair

Listening to Norwegian singer, Sivert Hoyem

His voice, delivers a deep melodic rhythm

The former lead man of Madrugada

And I’m writing a Haiku, to ease my hysteria

Spring In Australia

Chilly morning moon

Wakening to clear blue sky

A warm day beckons

Dear Friend, I Mean These Words

Hello dear readers, I’ve been browsing through some old poems of mine….. and I came across this poem/letter, that I had written for a very dear friend …. the piece has remained filed away for over seven years….. and for the sake of my angel, I think It’s time that my noble soul shared these words……

Dear Friend, I Mean These Words
From the bottom of my broken heart, I thank you

From the depths of my crying soul, I thank you

Holding her frail hand at night, you were there

Caressing her spirit with your gentle words, you were there

Keeping me company, during her gathering dark, you were there

Hugging me when I cried and cried, you were there

Dear friend, again, and again, I mean these words

Dear friend, over and over, I say these words

From the bottom of my beating heart, I thank you

From depths of my noble soul, I thank you

Black Snow Thaws In The Winter Sun

I went to my favourite lunch-spot today, the Moorabool Valley Chocolate Cafe. I have not walked that far (the weather has been dismal), since I’ve been home from my trip to Philadelphia. Surprisingly I handled the long walk reasonably well. Then I sat down for a coffee and a piece of tasty blue-berry cheese cake. The winter sun was gorgeous, out on the outdoor balcony, and I happily “observed” a pair  of Weebill birds, as I continued to write this poem(Below). Also attached, a few photos from my pleasant afternoon observations……

The Weekly Word Prompt is: >>  Observation  << click to view their site.

Black Snow Thaws In The Winter Sun

I’ve no more secret words of sorrow

Only old lines I’ve borrowed

I found them in a poet’s dusty booklet

The pages were tattered, like grandma’s cookbook

Torn recipes, out of last century’s Gideon’s bible

Of a tongue, ancient and tribal

Shadowy scriptures that now appear outdated

Erased from my sacred tablet

Years of love and dreams desecrated

Thrown away, but prudently not wasted

My road ahead is now cleared of black snow

The night is not always black, you know ?

Brave Heart (Revised)

“In the confusion we stay with each other, happy to be together, speaking without uttering a single word.” –
Walt Whitman

Brave Heart

I always remember

The last time I saw the sun

I always remember

The last time I saw you run

Yesterday I remembered

The colour of your eyes

Yesterday I remembered

The colour of our brilliant sky

Today I remembered

The happiness in your smile

Today I remembered

The happiness of our every mile

Tomorrow I will remember

The final beat of your brave heart

Tomorrow I will remember

The unread pages of our lost charts
