G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Thank you for your kind encouragement…. but I opened my website….and saw love stories, about yesterday’s fuck, that gone wrong, or about tomorrows dream fuck they’ve never had…and between their legs and the earth is fucking dying, and who gives a fuck….. sorry I don’t normally swear, but tonight what’s normal ??

    1. Thank you, the poetry reading was a rave…yes… disconnection is the word…. I feel for the world….. my site gets bombard with stories about feeling for themselves…… I’m not sure l’m, but I make a terrible psychologist….. 😔

  10. I’m pleased the poetry reading was a success….

    As for the other stuff, I don’t know what to say. People can get caught up in their own lives and situations and lose perspective of wider issues. Our culture points people towards this sort of individualism I think. It’s good for us all to look outside ourselves…

    1. Of course, and it’s an interesting writing practice I do sometimes, and the resulting articles, can be surprisingly insightful… After waking up the next morning.. 😉😁🤗💛

      2. No definitely not, and I never swear in my poems, the comment was probably directed at that person who had never been on my site before….. i suppose they won’t be back………
