G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  3. Very profound! This is true and sad when you think about it.

    Also, funny thought, the 1920’s were JUST introducing the fedora. In 2020, the year introduced masks. History is repeating different fashion trends!

    Well, I wish it were merely a fashion trend. Oy…

    1. Thank you Carolyn, for such a simple, some selfish people still complain, maybe the little elastic bands are choking common sense out of their leftover empty brains 🤔🙄💙🌏😎

      1. Are you told to wear them outdoors? Here it’s just indoors in public places and outdoors only if you cannot social distance.

  9. great collection of masks Ivor … I still think people look like they are heading out to rob banks! But we should be safe right now, only way to tame this beast 😦

    That video, wow … I will play it several times … so much there! A viking funeral and a whirling Dervish [a muslim practice] in the midst of a very dark song about a Jewish youth organisation … strong impact visually and verbally
