G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

I remember that photograph, you’ve come a long way, Ivor.
My journey has never been dull, and I’m still learning the range, the depth, the highs and lows of emotions within our souls, and I think the journey of self discovery is a never ending quest. 😊🙂💙🌏
Great photo ivor. Is this the beginnings of your book series. I found the introduction very interesting. A meeting place is a great name for a poetry book. It would be a great name for a Poetry Group.
Keep up your good work!
Thanks Dwight,.. I’m proud of my ‘Tullawalla’ booklets… this one of my published works marks the 20th booklet in the series,…. and a new one has begun…
Excellent, Ivor!
I remember when you were in the hospital poet-ing on the white-board. I’m so glad your health is better…and your poetry is still flowing!
They might be able to put you in isolation…but your muse is with you and you just keep writing! 😉
I know writing has been good for you…but your writing is good for us, too. You have impacted so many people in so many positive ways! Thank you!
HUGS!!! 🙂

Gosh I remember that picture, and what you were going through. I’m glad you’re out (though we’re all back ‘in’ now).

Yes, the Preface is in all of Tullawalla booklets, and you pronounce the name, the word just smoothly rolls along.. ‘tul-la- wal-la’…
