Here is a poem that I posted on the Go Dog Go Cafe’s, Throwback Friday segment, a few hours ago. I’ve made a few little changes to this poem, that I originally posted on my site on August 24th 2017. I think my updated version added some softness to my poem. Memory Rain
Every time I opened our photo album
I saw her personal emblem
Every time I turned about-face
I felt pain and soft rain again
Every time I switched on the screen
I waited for a different dream
Every time I tried another channel
I cried during the battle
Every time I played another sad tune
I sang until the next full moon
Every time I walked out the back door
My head would be in the clouds
Every time I looked up to heaven
My angel stood waiting at the gate
I’d see the rain on her face
And I’d feel the memory rain again
Ivor Steven (c) 2018

This is so tenderly beautiful, every line. 💚

So beautiful and heart-touching! It brings a flood of emotions. I had to grab a tissue.
Lovely in trio with the purple flowers and Mr. Levine singing his amazing song. Adam, wrote this when one of his best friends, Jordan Feldstein, died. Jordan was only 40 years old. 😦

The violet hanging basket is very special… it was at the family Tullawalla homestead … dad planted it to celebrate our wedding… and wow that fern is less than 3 years old, and it’s already 6′ tall…
