Like a rainbow

Orbits come and go

Each brilliant arch

Travels a mirrored path


Is our life, a rainbow’s

Reflection upon cosmic snow

Grindstone Potion (Revised)


Before I unveiled your spellbinding disguise

You had gouged out my eyes

And splintered my bones

With your sorceress stones

You did laugh and mock

Turning my soul into crushed rock


I waited at every station

Cursed, you left me in slow motion

With witches sand in my pocket

Holding onto your luckless locket

Then I cast my heart adrift in the ocean

Finally freeing myself of your grindstone potion
