G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. Unfortunately, we humans, are too, aloof, toward how, the, habitats of, other living things, are, being, destroyed, we humans are, the problem, but also, we’re the, answer, too, but, until we can, realize that, every action causes a, huge, effect on the, environment, nothing will, ever, change, and, global warming is, going to, get, worse, before it, ever gets, better.

  2. This is so wonderful, Ivor! Congratulations!
This is one of your mostest fabulousest poems and messages! I’m so happy more people will get a chance to read it and be impacted positively by it.
So many changes go on in the universe…I wish we human-beans could always strive to help there be positive changes. We must remember the negatives affect all life/nature.
A powerful pairing with Enya’s song!
