Ripples in the Sky



Hi, to all perceptive observers,
you, might not be able to see me,
but, if you look through telescopic eyes,
I’m up here, high in the Cirrocumulus clouds,
lounging in my excellent recliner chair,
sharing the sky’s Blue Theatre,
with the daytime silvery moon.

We are tactfully floating upon
the troposphere’s delicate white ripples,
and wistfully waving to the world’s
congregating survivors.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

      2. I’m in mine now and Frankie is in his beside me, he’s enjoying the set up , with me blogging on my TV-Screen size computer … with a Asus NUC Mini PC, which my brother set up for me, using the Linux Platform/Operating system … It works very efficiently 📘🌏🖥

    1. They wonderful recliner chairs, courtesy of my sister … she is moving to new house (downsizing) and won’t be enough room for the recliners… Lucky Ivor and Frankie 🐶😍💙🌏
