I’ve finished self printing quite few copies of Tullawalla, a Booklet/Leaflet of my latest poems. I actually make them up off my own computer, for our local MS Charity Shop, and they sell my Poems over the counter, with all proceeds going to the Geelong MS Shop. And along with myself selling/pushing copies to my family and friends, we’re hoping to raise as much as we did last time, a few years ago….. Haha, probably a booklet as part of my Clients accounts over the next few months as well !!, and yes, I am that cheeky.
Cheers.
Ivor Steven.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Thanks ~M~ . It make me feel warm inside because I know Carole’s smiling at me, she thought my poems were “quaint”, and we were both involved in community groups. It’s the way we were ♡♡

Would it be OK if I steal this great idea off you, and print some poetry books of my own, to sell in my beloved Oxfam shop? By MY Oxfam shop, I mean the one I volunteer in 🙂

Of course Jane, it’s a bit time consuming, but beats knitting !! When I stop plumbing I’ll volunteer at MY MS shop.

You won’t regret it. I love my work at Oxfam.
You know that joke: an old golfer never dies, he just loses his balls… I’ve been trying to came up with something about an old plumber. No success yet…

What a lovely thing to do! I even adore the name, “Tullawalla!”

It was the name of the old family home in Ocean Grove, a Aboriginal name, I think meaning “meeting place”

If your booklet filled with your poems are as wonderful as the ones you post here, it should be a top seller!

Yes , they’re the first 43 from my website, and I think”😄 43 was the chosen number, because, that’s all that would fit on my contents list page, haha.
