Going to see that lady of Wizardry.
In the grey house of mystery.
Over the bridge, strong and earthy.
Finding my path to bravery.
Not to be judged lightly.
But cured for all eternity.
Bending, a bow to the Queen, so ghostly.
In the castle of life, so empty.
Far from again being carefree.
Finding my journey to longevity.
Not to be forlorn and angry.
But face friends and foe all calmly.
Searching to see her hidden beauty.
In the distant Abbey, so eerie.
Over the boundaries, through the valley.
Finding my river of destiny.
Not to be trialed for my sanity.
But unveiled, for all humanity.

Thank you Ortensia, a funny sort of poem, trying to explain about all my years with my psychologist, and she was a great help with my healing.

This ‘feels’ like a lot Ivor. It’s packed with curiosity. Your comments to some of the others has answered that curiosity. ๐

Yes Colleen, the lady who helped me was wonderful, and I’ve lots of good memories, and she’s the reason, I came out and made my poem public to my family, friends and eventually all…. she was the first one to read my writings, and I’m forever thankyou for her gentle encouragement.

This is a lovely dreamy poem Ivor, and a great tribute to your psychologist. Is there any chance that she’ll see it? xx

Yes, I still stay in contact and often email her my poems, and tell how I’m going.

She must really like you – the kind of job she does rarely spills out into friendship.

More of a mutual admiration thing, I admire her methods and skill, and she admired my attention to Carole.

I especially love this verse because boundaries are what hold us back or remind us of the strength we need to move forward. Amazing piece!

At the time when I wrote it, the poem was an important piece for me… The lady of wizardry, was my psychologist, and she too thought the poem was cleverly amazing ๐๐ค๐ค
