G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

      1. She probably knows, I believe they know far more than we think.
        Ivor, do they do foster care for dogs in Australia, either short or long term? It occurs to me that you could be the perfect carer.

      3. It be might to time for a re- think. You are such a caring person Ivor and I’m sure you would continue to be a wonderful doggy foster daddy! You could always try short term to start with.

  14. That’s a tiny bed sharer. My dog is a brown lab, and along with two cats, there’s not much turning room in my bed at night. Add a husband now and then (night shift)…such a sweet dog!
