G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. Oh, that looks so lovely! Thank you for sharing these pictures and please continue to do so. I’m looking forward to the next ones. Please please have a lovely holiday, or as they say at the other side of my pond A vacation! 🙂

  2. And here we are, commenting from the end to the beginning. I love this sort of time travel. At this point you had no idea what to expect; who you would meet or what you’d eat or what the ocean looked like at sunrise and sunset. You opened your heart to take a chance on having a good time doing something adventurous…and it paid off. Loved riding along on the boat with you!

    1. Thank you Claudia, I’m so pleased you liked my cruise posts. I had such a great time, I met so many friendly people, and they all appreciated my poems that I recited, and I was able to share my web site amongst many of the passengers and crew members. 😊 😊
