Right Or Wrong, It’s Your Song

Who knows the words to your song

Who sings in tune to your song

Who’s to say a song is right

Or a song is wrong

It’s not their song

It’s not my song

It’s your song

Aren’t we all here for the same song

Right or wrong

Let’s all sing the song

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. From 1970, I was a teenager, and I started to write love poems to my girlfriend, that was the beginning of it all for me. The lyrics are timeless 😊😎

  1. That’s a very thought-provoking post, Ivor. Soulful, even. I like the idea that we each have our song. Got me wondering if we change it often depending on where we are in our life.

    1. Thank you ❀️ Calen, I’m so pleased my words evoked your thoughts, I’m always pondering why our planet hasn’t spun out of control and ejected all mankind, and left mother earth to the animals, birds and beesπŸ™„

    1. Hi Christy, this comment of yours went into my spam, … Yes I’m a believer that music should be the religion of the world, the as music is our one true universal language.
