G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  7. Like Mexico The Land Down Under has a pretty strick emigration policy and will not just let anybody in the door.

    Yet dares to criticize the good ole us of a from protecting itself from those seeking to guzzle from the us taxpayers teat.

Did I critise the US, NO, did I talk about immigration policy, NO, all I’m talking about is the deplorable inhumane treatment of the Children, and if you’ve read any of my posts over the past 12 weeks, about the suffering Children all around the world 🗺 you might grasp that all I’m writing about is the “Children”.

      1. Hello Ivor my problem isn’t with you per se…

        Unfortunately the “Children” are being used as PAWNS by those who want to open the floodgates of illegal immigration.

        The media has also lied by omission by failing to inform the public that children were being separated from their parents by the Obama administration.

        Nor has the media held the politicians feet to the fire by demanding that congress reform our broken immigration system.

        Consequently it isn’t about the children (never has been and never will be) the issues are much deeper than that.

        Which is why the left wing media here in America and elsewhere (such as in the Land Down Under) seek to mislead the public and those like yourself who truly care about the children involved.

        Ironically Feminists both here in the usa and around the western world deliberately promote policies (with malice, forethought and contempt) that cruelly separate fathers from their children.

        Without so much as a complaint from the left wing media whose members willingly support the inhumane treatment of both fathers and their children on the behalf of mothers.

I don’t give a fuck about any of the stupid politics, or the money driven media, all we need is to look after the Children of “our World”, we are all aliens on mother earth 🌏 if we can’t look after the innocent children, we are all immigrants, we are all sharing the one planet earth,…… There is only one colour blood, the air we breathe is the same everywhere,……..

      3. Then perhaps you should redirect your anger at the governments who created the conditions harming children by forcing their parents to flee.

        And no human beings (having been created from the dust of this world) are not aliens upon this planet. That said each nation has the absolute right to decide who it lets in and who it deports.

  8. BTW I can still remember when many years ago the American people allowed the dem-bulbs and the repugnant-crats to grant a limited amnesty to those here in the us of a illegally.

    Both political parties promised the American people that this was a one time deal, that our immigration system would be reformed and the borders secured.

    The failure of the dem-bulbs and the repugnant-crats to keep their promises to the American people is what eventually led to the election of Donald Trump.
