I’m tired tonight, my plumber’s back is aching, my poet’s pen is dry, my heart is yearning, my mind is thinking of peace, and my soul is singing the same old tune. I hope you like this song, and the lyrics by Nick Cave are worth a read.

    Do the things that bring peace to your mind, heart, soul…healing to your back…and very soon you will be penning poems again. 🙂

    1. Lovely thoughtful words Carolyn, I’m feeling rested tonight, but definitely no writing, I’ve been very intense for a couple of months, and my energies have come to a sudden stop. I’m ok with this spent feeling and satisfied I’ve given my all to the very special topics during that time. I emotionally poor myself into my writings and I know it consumes me. I’ve got my poetry group Sunday/tomorrow morning, and I really enjoy the gathering of fellow like poets, we all appreciate each others efforts in trying to write poetry !!
