Hello dear readers, the poem below was originally hand written 2 weeks ago, during my stay in Isolation, and It was up on my Isolation Room’s Whiteboard, so I’ve decided to type up the poem, with a few minor changes and present the words again here today.
Your sky above
My sea below, our air in between
A cloudless dream
Floating on a gentle stream
Drifting across flat shiny pebbles
Emitting flat parallel beams
Carrying visions of hope
Hope for future scope
Time, to be wiped clean
Cleansed by soothing rain
Revealing warm sunshine again
Warm sun-rays, instead of dead X-rays
Removing yesterday’s old creams
Finding today’s new dreams
Ivor Steven (c) 2018

And just as lovely the second time around. Thank you Ivor 🙂

Your photo and your poem bring warmth to me on a cold Dec night.
And the song is keeping me company as I WordPress. 🙂
Continued prayers for your complete healing and recovery.

I’m pleased with my poem, even though I was having a tough time, I was always remaining positive, and the bottom line here is, that’s the legacy my Carole has left within me. xxxx

Oh I find everything I do important these days, I’ve just started to book my flights to America, Heading to New York about 24th April. Then staying in Philadelphia with my cousins for a couple of weeks, and I’ll probably be doing some internal flights towards the end of my stay may 20th ??, where are you, is there a close airport ?

No airport close. And we are going to be spending time vacationing with family in May on the West Coast.
Darn.
Wow! I hope you have a great trip! I’ve been to Philadelphia and enjoyed the many sites to see there! 🙂

Oh darn, that’s a pity, well I’ll cross you off my visit list …. I’m going to stay in New York for a few days first, then catch the train to Philadelphia to stay with my cousins for a few weeks. xxx

It sounds like a wonderful trip! I’ve always wanted to visit NY. Maybe some day! 🙂
We usually do family traveling in April or May when the weather is nice all around the country. And we often make it a family reunion time. 🙂
Oh, my gosh! Thank you so much for thinking of me for your visit list. I’m honored. Maybe at another time in the future. 🙂
Guess what? When I was in Philadelphia a few years ago I wrote a poem. So I know you will be inspired to write on your trip there.

Oh I shall be inspired !!, catching up with my cousins, some of which I’ve never seen, and I’ve a special “niece”, Kerri, who is very close to my heart, she suffers from SMA, and she’s a true inspiration to my soul

Carole left you with and incredible legacy Ivor. When you come to TN, we will find today’s new dreams. And another good song choice!
