G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems. The photo is beautiful! Where was it taken? The mural is wonderful…and seems to tell a story.
Keep haikuing, Ivor!
I’m hoping you are bright-eyed-‘n-bushy-tailed soon!
Did you know that expression…”bright eyed and bushy tailed”…goes back to the very early 1900’s. ???
I’ve always been a bit squirrel-y, so I like that expression! π π
Any new news today?
(((HUGS))) π

It’s the remembrance garden here at the hospital, and the mural represents the medical teams who served in the War’s. It is definitely a pretty garden spot. No news yet until maybe late tomorrow (Monday afternoon) πππ€ππ€xxx

A big day tomorrow, with tests and a camera procedure on the heart, and hopefully a few answers to help me find out what’s going on ππ€π€

Good afternoon Ivor. It’s morning here for me 06:00 AM again. I’m wondering how you are and if you have had your tests yet. Though it’s more likely that as I write this you are in the middle of your tests. Anyway, by the time you read this it will be over and done with.
I hope all went well for you. π

Yes I’m eating today. The results are inconclusive again. The Doctor’s have got no firm answers for me, as why I’ve been so sick….. Another MRI today or tomorrow. I’m a conundrum π€π€

A conundrum indeed Ivor. I’m glad you are eating. Sure wish they would find what ails you so you can go home. And regain your strength!
