The Edge

Today I’ve written a quote, and then at the same time, I’ve converted the quote, into a Haiku. I’ll give you the quote first, then the Haiku

Quote: The Edge

“Life, is living on the edge

There’s no bottom nor top

Moving sideways is enough”   – Ivor Steven

Haiku: The Edge

Living on the edge

Moving sideways is enough

No bottom nor top

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Thank you Stella, I’m home now, but I’m still very tired, and as weak as a kitten. I’m quite restricted in what I can do, and I’m always in bed resting. My blogging is non existent, except for me posting my own poems. That’s all I can do. 😊😊 Always lovely to hear from you Stella. Sorry I’ve been missing, but that’s the way I am at the moment. Hopefully I will come back to normal in the next month or two xx((hugs)) 🤗❤️😊

      1. It’s ok Ivor I understand! I’ll always miss from the moment you are away! I know being bed ridden in itself can be exhausting. I know you are ready to be fully mended! Hugs and Kisses sweet sweet Ivor!💜😘
