G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Congratulations Ivor, took a few weeks off so belated Christmas wishes and Happy New Year – great when a plan comes together? especially when it wasn’t planned.
Lovely poem . Congratulations Ivor. I haven’t a clue how many I’ve done. I think I’ve had the odd notification and then typically forget what I was told. I might have remembered if I’d thought any of mine were as worthy of yours! Well done Ivor! 🙂
I love the way you and I meet up at the start and end of our days. You slept in today I think. Hope you have a good day, for me it’s just after 10:30 PM and my bedtime. Once again I hope you have a good day, goodnight, look forward to seeing you tomorrow. 🙂
The number sprung out at me, and I’ve no idea about these things, all I do is write my poems, but after 18 months, It was a pleasant surprise, thank you, and yes the poem is an old favourite xx
