G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Slow and steady will get you there Ivor ! I have faith in your determination!
once it has a name you do know it becomes family!! peal your way to health and strength Ivor, for those walks on the beach and also to your favourite cafe, i;ll be counting on it!!
I’m not sure how much I should be doing, but I’m seeing my Physiotherapist on Thursday for an hour session. and she’ll let me know what I need to know. I only got the bike on Sunday morning xx
Listen to what the PT says and take it one day at a time, Ivor! You’ll make it!
Yorkie will help you regain your strength and get you to New York as fit as a fiddle! 🙂
Love your title, your photo, your poem, and the song from Mr. Cohen! 🙂
The birds and the water scenes in the video made me feel all warm and smiley! 🙂
HUGS!!! 🙂
Oh I could listen to Leonard all day(I do), and I’m looking forward to seeing my PT (Connie) on Thursday. At the moment I’m listening to some soothing music by Agnes Obel.
Yes very tiring !! I’m heading to bed and it’s only 8.00pm. I’m seeing my Physio (Connie) on Thursday, and we’ll sort out a proper program for me to do.

You chose my Yorkie! I’m glad you’re keeping up with the cycle physio but I imagine it’s very tiring for you.
