Skyward bound

Away from home ground

No more, of the side-walk mound

Daylight stargazing drowned

Northern clouds to be found

My time, is finally unwound

Hearing new city sounds

Amazing heights to astound

Sights to snoop around

A statue proudly crowned

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS.     1. Although I’ve been very tired today, yes that’s exactly the theme of the poem… My day has been a stroke fatigue day, they happen every now and then, a little downer, amongst all the better days, I’ll be fine in a couple of days… xx
