Haiku:  A Glow

 

The sky isn’t all grey

Behind dark clouds there’s a glow

Where light grows brighter

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

      2. I’ve been asleep, but just a usual awakening, I sleep in 3 hour blocks… It’s been an exciting day on my blog with over 180 views… Nite nite… 😴😴💤🙂

      4. Yep… (That was over 3 hours sleep) .. I usually average around 100 per day, but because of my involvement with the ‘Go Dog Go Cafe’ forum my patronage is definitely growing, and now I’m up to nearly 1200 followers…. This blog of mine’s expansion is beyond belief, and it’s just over 2 years since I started… The task of handling such a following is daunting, but I always manage to stay connected (nearly) with my most important friends …. 🤗😊💛. .. Nite nite again… 😴💤
