G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Haha… I’ve run out of cake… I think I’m going cabin crazy,.. I spray the shower base and walls before dinner,.. Now I’ll have a shower and clean it up… I’m not sure why I did that on a Saturday night ššš

We did not panic-buy or hoard and have just been buying what we need each week…and on Friday we could not even get things like eggs or bread or ETC Oh, well.
Oh, she is! I’m so glad!
We are far away from all of my family (siblings, my kids, etc) Closest niece is 3-4 hours away depending on traffic.
But we are surviving, and trying to help others who need help.
I send your sis a virtual (HUG) š
Thank you Carol, haha, she brought the card to my place, and a “cake”,….I made her a cuppa…. we had a lovely chat…. I gave her one of my poetry Booklets… and she kindly donated for MS Society… she understood my passion well…. šš

This is a time of solitude – replete with many emotions – you paint both beauty and anguish with your words.

Fitting imagery to follow the earlier poem, Ivor. And good video – he’s changed that one a bit.
