This afternoon I had the glorious pleasure of being presented with gorgeous gift from a lovely client. In these tough times of turmoil and tragedy, today was an uplifting moment for me, when I was given a framed card of appreciation, that truly warmed my heart and deeply touched my soul.

I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

She was a friendly lady… I did the job….over a few days….. we sat and had coffee together… we chatted…. on one of my breaks, I walked the gorgeous Emmie down to the cafe…..next day we chatted some more, and I gave her some of my poem booklets, and she donated money to the MS society…. I think she understood me well…..
