The Forest Of Doubt

 

Tonight, after dusk

I’ll be in the dark forest of Doubt

On a mystical walkabout

To find those elusive faeries

With their wings of mysterious star-dust

And I shall fill my empty pockets

Ready for Mothers Day tomorrow

Whereupon I’ll spread the magical sparkles

One handful on my mother’s headstone

The second one on my wife’s grave site

And as the same as other years gone by

For us, the faeries willing share their night

  1. May you have some pleasant surprises magical ones tomorrow as you sprinkle the faerie dust on the headstones of your Wife and Mother.     2. I’m in bed now, listening to my music faerie music, very tired and emotionally drained…. It’s been a week of memories and dreams, a week of highs and lows, and a week of smiles and tears, but never fear, I’m still full cheer…. although the space between my ears, is only a dreamers career 💙🌏😏

      4. Actually 2.00am now, I’d been asleep 4 hours and now ready for another session… The printing up of my Tullawalla booklet, really took a lot of out of me…. during these times when our energy seems to be low 🤔😊💙🌏

      5. I think with the ‘stay in place’ orders, I have succumbed to “the less I do the less I want to do” pitfall. I made some changes this morning. I don’t like all of this inactivity. So I need to get back on track … even in place!

      6. Yes, being inactive is “catching”… but I’m doing my best with set daily routine that I do every day…. Exercise mat, of stretching exercises in the morning (15mins)….. Before lunch, I do a 10min pedal on my exercise bike, then I do my balance exercises (15mins)….and in the afternoon I do a 3km walk… I do this program every day without fail…. and in between I do gardening, housework, some hobby jobs, picture framing, and I’ve joined a photographer group, and we have a different photo prompt every, which is interesting, and different for me….. Of then there’s my poetry and blogging….. Music music, non stop… all day. I do not sit down and watch TV….. ☺️💙🌏

      7. This is a brilliant schedule Ivor. I am getting up early every day. Just ‘restarted’ my exercise regime that I had strictly adhered to for 25 years! Then said …. eh 🤷🏻‍♀️But, I don’t like how I feel physically so I started again. I do like routine. I do NOT like being told to stay put (though I do for concern for everyone!). I listen to a lot of music via youtube.

      8. Always music while I’m exercising, and yes getting into a routine is good for…. and no I don’t staying put…. I’ve been an outdoor person all my live, via work, sport and recreation……xx
