G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Geeze, Ivor, I sure hope we will all be exonerated and not terminated!
I love this poem, especially the words that sound alike: exasperated, exonerated, exaggerated, extricated.
Thanks Cheryl… I think the end of time is a long way off, but as for being exonerated, too many of our human race are heartless crooks, and have to stop being so selfish, and acting like spoilt brats…..
You are right Ivor everyone should be questioning their life. All too many believe they will fly into heaven or the Divine Spiritual Realms. This pandemic has really brought out the truth of the people. I have been shocked by “Love and Light” friends who preach about tolerance. When they are now dictating about wearing masks. then you see them with family (no masks) out boating on a lake enjoying life but woe behold anyone else who might like to have some enjoyment. Selfish to a T.
Yes, Nanette, I’m seeing the same sort of selfish behaviour here in Geelong….. the pandemic has brought the best in a lot a people, but I’m afraid there’s also been a lot of the worst in people, being far too prevalent
Thank you Angela… I did read somewhere that they’re up to “Terminator 6″… so I thought Terminator 7, would do for a title, as I didn’t know what to call this one… ๐๐
Just after 8:30 AM here. I’m still in bed with my iPad, but I can smell the bacon that Joss is cooking so I shall be leaving this comfortable spot any minute now to join him in the kitchen ๐
Powerful, poignant, truthful, and timely, Ivor!
I see what you are seeing, feel what you are feeling, and I wonder the same thing. Thank you for expressing all of this so very well!

PS…Love your use of those -ted words! I'm not easily exasperated…but have been at times over the past few months.
PSS…Love your title! "I'll be back." – Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger
Only I like to say, "I'll be Bach!" ๐
Thank you Carolyn for your entertaining comments.. and yes most of my friends are feeling the same way… it’s the overwhelming mental pressure that the pandemic is dragging us down… but we’re all in the same boat, and we just have to keep paddling away.. โด๐๐๐๐ง
