Todayβs prompt: sapphire stardust
Dancing Stardust
The morning sky caresses my eyes
Shades of daylight colours, amplified
A cosmos of infinite sapphire stardust
Royal aqua beams, an inviting wanderlust
Iβm illuminated on this day, to actually tryΒ
Gather up all my blues, that have yet to cryΒ
Pack them in first, donβt waste a chance
There is time left, to travel this vast expanse
My Itmims* craft is waiting, and ready to fly
And traverse through spaceβs cobalt sky
These alien eyes, sense my universe wants to have a dance
And embrace my starβs everlasting existence
*Itmims; Ivor’s Time Machine In Micro Space

Ivor, lovely poem on the theme. If it’s blue or green, I usually relate! π Take care, Cheryl

I feel like I should be expanding out to the Universe connecting with my Inner Universe within my soul I would love to go physically or in my imagination. Life here is so tawdry yet our Planet still shines Mother Earth is amazing. The song and lyrics well chosen..

Your inspiration was found in space, such imaginings. π

I hope my imaginations, are not the beginning of me flying off into micro-space, where I will end up being a minuscule of my real self, and heading to a “point” of no-return … Then we’ll need “Doctor Who” to extract me out of the shrinking vortex machine… πππ―

All of the colours of the world help us when the emotional-blues become too-blue. π
And it’s wonderful when we have those ways of “escape” to find joy, peace, comfort, lightness, etc. π
Love the thoughts of stardust, wonderlust, and flying!
HUGS!!! π
PS…always enjoy hearing about your Itimims adventures!!!

Thank you Brandi … I invent my ‘Itmims’ when I was hospitalised with my stroke and other complications back in November 2018, and I had to stay in a isolation room for 2 weeks….

You’re very welcome, Ivor. I read your poems and I think it’s amazing how you were able to release your creativity and emotions while in isolation. Plus, the “Itmims” seems like it has taken you to some very awesome places. π

My favorite lines are “Pack them in first, donβt waste a chance, There is time left, to travel this vast expanse.” Such a wonderfully worded reminder, Ivor!
