What is Nightmare Whispers? It is 3 volumes of short horror stories and dark poetry. It is the collected fears and darkness that lingers just out of the light.

Why is there three volumes? Well that’s because we recieved more quality stories than we had room for in a single volume. It was admittedly us deciding that we wanted to share the stories that were too amazing to refuse.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

I’m ‘Hot Diggity Dog’ at the moment… Fae Corps Publishing, who is publishing these anthologies, have agreed to publish a book of ‘My Poems’, if I can produce a suitable manuscript by Jan 2021…. So I’m going to give it a go… and I’ve made a solid start over past two weeks, by creating a list of 10 Chapters, which is a platform for me to place my large variety of poems in…. here’s my Chapter list….

        Tullawalla. A Meeting Place

        Chapter 1.
        Nature, Trees, and the Air We Breathe
        Chapter 2.
        My Empty Hands Are Full, Of Memories and Rhymes
        Chapter 3.
        Dragons, Wizards, Faeries, and a Space Craft
        Chapter 4.
        Humour, Wit, Sarcasm, and Christmas Stories
        Chapter 5.
        Observations, The Sound of Silence
        Chapter 6.
        Travel. Air, Land, and Sea
        Chapter 7.
        The Family Tree and Dream-time Stories
        Chapter 8.
        Haiku’s and the Leftover Champagne
        Chapter 9.
        Not Horror, But Weird
        Chapter 10.
        Beyond the Blue Horizon

        And I’ve nearly sorted my poems into these Chapters, and already finished the 1st Chapter… Yeah !!

      10. Haha… yes a big undertaking for me !!.. tiring… nearly 9.00am and I’m just out of bed… oops and I’ve a doc’s appointment this morning….. Fae Corps Publishing has almost agreed to publish for me, if I can produce a suitable manuscript….. well I figured, It’s “now or never’… πŸ˜€

      12. Not much happening at my Doc’s this morning… I’m yet to see the heart specialist (He was away on holidays)… so just a chat with my Doc, to make sure I can continue with my present regimes …..πŸ˜€
