Sunday’s Cooling Zephyr



So this is our new Sunday

Finally a return to normal ways

I feel almost alive

Adrenaline’s on a high



No time for my Dell

No time to dwell

Wonder and ponder

About a deep blue yonder



Another hour or so

And I’ll get up and go

Relax at my local Cafe

Enjoy a cake and coffee



And there will be a cooling zephyr

Caressing my brow, soft as a feather

I’ll hear Sigur Ros’s soothing music playing

And daydreaming, I’ll be gently swaying

      2. There’s plenty of hope Ali… I know it’s harder in the populated areas, but we obeyed the basic rules, distancing, hand cleaning, masks, and only go out for supplies, there was no travel beyond 5 Km, etc… it was tough, for 8 months, but it worked…

    1. Yes it feels like liberation day…. here in Australia, we are basically Covid free, and no recorded new cases in Victoria for 20 days, so most restrictions were lifted on the weekend….

    1. Oh it’s easy to get hooked on Sigur Ros.. I’m now watching a live concert of theirs at the Walt Disney Concert Hall, with the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
      … Wow sensational.. you’ll find it on YouTube.. It’s a music must 😊😊
      And in Geelong and Australia, we are now basically Covid free, and no more masks.. Yeah 😁😊🌏🎶

      4. Tempting,, but I’ve my exercise group this morning, and the rest of the day I’m with my proof-reading, editor friend doing my manuscript… yep ..long day ahead… 😀
