G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

I imagine when they hear they would respond as we do to such amazing music…goosebumps on arms, joy-tears in eyes, sighs escaping mouths, smiles forming on lips! Music changes us heart, body, mind, and soul…in all good ways!

I hope we broadcast many different ‘pieces’. We need to embrace our eclectic world and share our melodies and harmonies. Music …. the connection between worlds. ๐
Well-chosen music to greet alien beings…should promote intergalactic understanding, Ivor. All the peaceful human emotions exist in that music. But if you get to choose more than one, I am sure you will come up with something appropriate! ๐ It never ceases to amaze me what great eclectic taste you have in music!
