I’m feeling very honoured and proud to have to my poem “Where’s That Dream” published by Vita Brevis in their annual anthology, and thank you to the editor Brian Geiger, for accepting my submission.

The second Vita Brevis anthology is officially out!

I can’t thank the community enough. Whether you’re a poet whose work is featured in the new collection, a Vita Brevis regular, or a reader, you’ll find something to love.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. I’m very pleased, it’s a fabulous anthology to be in .. and I am ecstatic that this lovely old fav’ of mine has finally been accepted … a poem that is over 8 years old … and has submitted many times 😄🌏 La creme surfaces to the top

      2. Haha. .. I like positive thoughts Ingrid, and yes I did believe in this special piece … and that is what the poem is about .. there is life and hope after grief 😄🌏

    1. Thank you Carolyn … I’m just back from my day out… It was good for me to get out and about …
      I’ve been stressed out about my book my book not being out and about …
      hopefully the situation will improve soon …
      I’m ok , but I do worry about Kerri, she was so looking forward to “our” Book, being out and about….. I’m still talkng to her every day about how she is going..
      Her life is so restictive at the moment..
