Do Not Quote Me?

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    PS…How are you doing? How is Sir Frankie?
    Coop has been very ill since last Wednesday night, so I’ve been super busy getting him help, giving him all the different meds the vet prescribed, making sure he eats some, drinks enough water, takes his walks, etc. Plus we’ve had very loud thundery rainy storms each day and those scare him so he wants to snuggle on my lap. As a result, I haven’t gotten much else done.

      3. I’m so glad!
        Coop was healthy when he was younger. Now that’s he’s considered to be a senior adult dog, he’s had some health issues. He is a combo of two breeds…with the one “side” (his mother’s side) he has outlived the life expectancy by a couple years already.
