I wrote this poem on a wet and cloudy day, on September 16th, 2019, and ironically three years later, today is exactly the same …

Lodestone Clouds (Revised)
I saw a blink in her golden eye
As the purple nebula covered her sky
I felt her aloha clouds pulsate
As I stepped into her open gate
Then I caressed her crystal tears
As her misty showers melted my fears
I gently glided onto her feathered dome
As her glowing lodestones enticed me home

I visited Hawaii once and there were road signs advising ‘drive with aloha’ – I think of this every time I am tempted to have road rage! 😅
