You can’t fly pass time

Travel with time, hand in hand

Time is not faceless

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Thank you Carolyn … feeling oddlywise this morning …. after attending Uncle Clive’s (Carole’s) funeral yesterday, we were great mates, and played golf together … he was the last one of our Uncles & Aunties … so it feels oddly strange /or strangly odd today … an end of era .has passed me by … 🤗💛😥😍 .

        Yes, I understand exactly how you feel. All of my aunts and uncles have now passed.
        It is odd…and realized me and my siblings and spouses are the eldest generation alive now. 😮
        OH, my gosh, thank you for that song! I love John Williamson’s voice. His voice and that song gets me teary-eyed. I know there are true blue people all over the world! 🙂 ❤️💙

      2. John Williamson has an incredible voice, and they played the song at the funeral … yes .. I ran out tissues … he didn’t feel like an uncle… more of true blue pal 🤗🌏💚
