Perceptions, Book Cover Revealed

My new book “Perceptions” will be out in late November. “This colourful and fascinating book is a collection of collaborativeĀ articles. The photographs were taken by Derrick Knight from the Ā New Forest area of southern England, and associated ekphrastic poemsĀ were written by Ivor Steven from Geelong, the other side of the world,Ā the southern end of Australia.”Ā Ā

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Only a PDF proof at the moment, I’m eagerly waiting for the Proof Book copy, to see how the book looks … It’s a hard-cover glossy photo book, I suppose it’s a “coffee table book”

    1. Yes Bree, something a bit different for me…. I’ve just proofread the polished PDF copy, which looked fabulous, and soon I’ll have a proof copy of the book … a hard-cover book, with glossy pages of photos and poems … can’t wait to see what my project actually looks like …
