Perceptions, Book Cover Revealed
My new book “Perceptions” will be out in late November. “This colourful and fascinating book is a collection of collaborativearticles. The photographs were taken by Derrick Knight from the New Forest area of southern England, and associated ekphrastic poemswere written by Ivor Steven from Geelong, the other side of the world,the southern end of Australia.”
G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Yes Bree, something a bit different for me…. I’ve just proofread the polished PDF copy, which looked fabulous, and soon I’ll have a proof copy of the book … a hard-cover book, with glossy pages of photos and poems … can’t wait to see what my project actually looks like …

The old dog has learnt some new tricks 🤗🌏💕📘 and I am 60 poems into my third book, to come out about Easter … I’m self publishing through a newly established local publisher, Jaymah Press,
