G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  2. Yes, birds on fences know so much! We should be more grateful for them and take better care of the earth for them. 🙂
    LOVE that Mr. Cohen song!
    This week a gorgeous all white dove keeps visiting our yards. I thought they all went south for the winter. ??? I love watching this dove. 🙂 OOH! It’s very cold today…but the recent snow has all melted.

Thank you Carolyn .. birds have definitely commandeered my poetic imagination lately and the Leonard Cohen song has always been a favourite of mine … oh, great news today.. my books, Tullawalla and Perceptions have been accepted by the Geelong Library and will soon be on the library’s bookshelf 🤗🌏📘… I am writing an article now and will post it tomorrow 🤗😊😍📘😃
