CRACKS AND HOLES

Coffee House Writers / Ivor Steven

There are cracks on the internetΒ
Is there a hole in the alphabet?Β

There are cracks in the ground
Is there a hole in the Pound?

There are cracks in my skin
Is there a hole in the garbage bin?

There are cracks in the skyline
Is there a hole in my shrine?

There is a crack in my Mind
Is the world a hole in decline?

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

Cracks and holes can go both ways…they can be not-so-good things or they can be good things! πŸ˜‰

Thank you Carolyn … my post was a computer experiment for me, to see if a website copy/export from my last week’s Coffee House Writers Magazine article would work and see if I could edit the copy to my site … well I think the post came out okay βœ…β€¦ I might try the process for my next CHW post πŸ€—πŸŒπŸ˜ŠπŸ’•β“
