G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. Wonderful lullaby, beautiful photos from Derrick, and oh, sweet Frankie. I was out yesterday and made friends with a black dog just like Frankie. Her name was Missy and she was adorable. Would Frankie have any interest in a long-distance romance? 😀

    1. Thank you for your lovely comments Lois … I adored Derrick’s photos and they immediately made me think of a Lullaby 🤗🎶😴😍… Frankie is always very friendly with other dogs 🐶 on our morning walkies and he is a favourite of the other walkers too 🤗😍🐶🌏

    1. Thank you Carolyn … immediately I saw Derrick’s lovely images I was prompted to think of lullaby and my words flowed … and of course Leonard Cohen’s music/video is fabulous 🤗🌏😍🎶😴😴🐶
