An Old Plumber, An Ex-Carer, An Amateur Poet, Words From The Heart
Yellow Boulders, is in this week’s Coffee House Writers Magazine
Hello dear readers and followers, I am writing for “Coffee House Writers” magazine on a fortnightly basis, and my poem “Yellow Boulders”, is in this week’s edition of Coffee House Writers Magazine.… please click on the link below to view my poem, at Coffee House Writers Magazine. >> https://coffeehousewriters.com/yellow-boulders/
G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

This actually gave me goosebumps and touched my heart.
We Human-Beans are such newbies to the universe, such a small part, we flit in and then we flit out…but while we are here we need to make a positive difference, we need to care, we need to be appreciative.
Perfect vid/song choice!

Thanks Eugenia … the boulders/stones are part of a sculpture on lawn outside of the Geelong Library … I took a photos, and warped imagination created the poem 🤗😉💛😃
I hope we are not living through Earth’s final resolution! Deeply disturbing thoughts are provoked by this beautiful, imaginative poem, Ivor. ❤ What will it take for us to wake up and attempt to avert the final resolution?
Beautiful 💜
