G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

      1. Cooper will see his vet this week. We will know more about how he is doing then. But he maintains his sweet, joyful attitude each and every day. 🙂
        They should rename the cafe Sir Frankie’s Cafe! 😉 🐶❤️

  7. I love this. Frankie is very well restrained, Woody would have had the lot in the blink of an eye!
    Many years ago my labrador jumped up and took my sandwich from my hand, the temptation had become too much for her!
    Beagles put on weight very easily, so Woody’s not allowed cake, but we do have little doggy treats instead.

    1. Thank you Sue … Frankie is a good doggie, most of the time! … he seems to understand how to behave at the table, and he waits for me to give him a piece of carrot cake … 🤗🐶
