A poem I wrote in April 2021, about waiting for the Publisher to do the edit corrections and have my “new” book (Tullawalla) printed and look the way I wanted it to be!
Patiently, I Am Waiting
Patience drifts around the clock
Patience floats in dry-dock
Patience hovers in transit
Patience belies my spirit
Patiently I walk
Patiently I talk
Patiently I listen
Patiently I have forgiven
Patience is the essence
Patience is my sentence
Patience is my burden
Patience is my warden
Patiently I wait
Patiently I update
Patiently I sleep
And alone I weep
Patiently I Compromise
Patiently I will arise
Patiently I reactivate
Patiently I will gravitate
Patience commands my time
Patience is my crime

Hi Ivor, I can relate. Iβve spent six months minimizing my book of short stories and will finally be able to upload it to Amazon this weekend.

Thank you Robbie β¦ dealing with publishing is very frustrating and certainly tests the boundaries of your patienceβ¦ but I must say my new editor/publisher has done a great job for me over the past 3 years β¦ ππππ

I don’t have any. None. Zip. Zero. I never hand any. Time is too short for me to be patient. π

I used to be impatient, but after caring for my wife for 30 years, I slowly developed some patience πππ

Hard way to learn. I didn’t learn that from losing my son and husband. I don’t think I have that gene.

Wonderful photo, poem and song choice, Ivor! π
Waiting can be so difficult…we can all relate…but, being patient and calm sure helps. π When I need to be patient, I think of the tortoise…and I tell the hare to chill out! π HA! π π’π
