An Old Plumber, An Ex-Carer, An Amateur Poet, Words From The Heart
Day 4, Gina Comes to Geelong
After our early morning walkies, Frankie, Gina, and I went to the Box Office Cafe for a scrumptious breakfast.
My Bowl of Porridge, Fruit, and nuts … Frankie enjoyed his toast and coffee
Frankie and his friend Bella, eyeing off Gina’s scrambled eggs.
Then we drove to the nearby Geelong Waterfront for another enjoyable walkie …
1.00 pm was approaching and it was time to take Gina to the train station and say a fond goodbye to our gracious and generous guest … until the next time “Gina Comes to Geelong”
G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

what a wonderful time you’ve all had, including Frankie!
Oh, how wonderful! For all of you…even little Bella who got in on the love and fun! π
Oh, Frankie will miss Gina! I know when we have family and friends with us, Coop misses them when they have to leave. He walks around for a day or so looking to find them. π
