G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

My son met this band when they came through our airport back in 2013. They just jammed right there while awaiting their connecting flight. He got pictures! This is such a great song.
So true, dear Ivor. I remember when I was taking piano lessons and didn’t practice one week. It was obvious to my teacher that I hadn’t practiced and when he asked why, I replied that I didn’t have the time. I will never forget what he said to me: “You have all there is!” How true that is! ♡🎶🎹⏱️♡
Oh, dear Ivor. My heart weeps for you and your family. We never know, do we? What a weight your nephew must have been carrying. I will remember him and your family in my prayers. 🙏🏼
