Corellas

The Corellas usually fly too high for me to capture good, in-focus photos on my iPhone, but luckily for me, today the birds flew over quite closely.

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

  1. Wow! So wonderful! Fabulous photos! Their faces, so sweet…their wingspan, so impressive…their soaring ability, so beautiful! They DO look like their cockatoo “cousins”. ๐Ÿ™‚
I really enjoyed the video…they are fascinating to watch…and their antics made me laugh! ๐Ÿ˜€
I wonder if they sing or talk. I shall research and read more about them. We have some wild colorful parrots that visit us and they are quite chatty. ๐Ÿ™‚
(((HUGS))) and โค๏ธโค๏ธ for you and Sir Frankie!! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. lol โ€ฆ the Corellas donโ€™t sing, they actually make a screeching noise and when thereโ€™s a large flock of them, the noise is loud and distinctive ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿถ ((HUGS)) ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค๐Ÿค
