Beautiful and Bright
I was daydreaming
Of something beautiful and bright
While I was watching the golden sunset
And admiring the Sunβs dazzling light
I was thinking
About how time
Metamorphoses during the night
Between sunset and sunrise
And I was wondering
About the worldβs absence of surprise

Because we see them every day without realizing what a blessing they are.

This reminded me immediately of a song I used to teach to my children’s choir called All Things Bright and Beautiful. Humbling verse and photos; I don’t understand how anyone can look at these marvelous creations and say there is no god. Thank you, dear Ivor.

Yes, I remember the song β¦ thank you for your βhumblingβ words, Nancy β¦ the trouble is lots of people donβt appreciate their surroundings, theyβre too busy being greedy and self-righteous β¦ ππ

There are, always, surprises in the world around us, it’s just, that we get, too busy in the tramples of light, we failed to notice, these, tiny little, miracles happening all around us.

This is lovely, Ivor. Waking up every day to a beautiful sunrise, and ending the day with a beautiful sunset, should be not be taken for granted. ππ
