G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer.
I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

What a wonderful Tanka, photos, and song/vid trio! 🙂
As of tonight, we have one banana, one apple, two oranges, and some grapes and a few blueberries. We ate all the pears, peaches, and bananas already. But we will shop on Thursday. 🙂 I’m going to be looking to buy some cherries to add to the normal fruit we buy each week. 🙂

Coop liked many of the dog-safe fruits…but blueberries, apples, and bananas were his faves. 🙂

Nice tanka Ivor, but you need to go grocery shopping! Your fridge looks like mine the day I came back from vacation, except I had no bananas or grapes.

No car and I’m walking. There’s a nice mini market 20 minutes away but it’s a cold, windy, and wet, winters day ❄️

Order online! i do it all the time- I pick mine up, but they will most likely deliver too these days.
