Dr Ivor, My Regeneration

On the fourth day of slumber, down under,
my regeneration did finally materialise.
Every cell in my body has been restored.
Replaced with a new, healthy cell.
Presumably, my DNA has changed as well
The only thing that hasn’t changed
is my quintessential core-
that is me, Ivor the time traveler,
in my rusty spacecraft, Itmims, **
with my trusty companion, Frankie

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Yes, that’s where “Itmims” took us, back at our favourite Cafe. (The inner sanctum of my writing studio) Another poem was created, but still no blogging done … my spacecraft runout of gas ⛽️😊😍📖🌏💕

    When it comes to changes, and adapting…I’m sure Sir Frankie adapted quickly, as pups do! 🙂 It takes us Human-Beans a little longer to readjust and regenerate! 🙂

    1. Thank you kindly for all of you lovely words, Carolyn… Frankie is a true and trusty companion … I’ve belonged to many doggies over the years, but I must say , Frankie is the bestest owner of all 🐶😍💕🌏🤗💙🐶

      1. I understand. It was the same way for me and Coop! I’m so glad Cooper adopted me when he was barely 6 weeks old. And he kept me filled with joy, companionship, friendship, and love (ETC 🙂 ) for over 16 years. 🙂

  10. Sometimes, we just need time off of our, regular schedules, to allow time to adjust itself in our bodies on thier own, time, with the advice from the nutritionists and medical experts considered, of course…glad your jet lag is over.
