Today’s Screenplay, or, Reggae and Crochet

“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.” ~ Robert Frost

Today’s Screenplay, or, Reggae and Crochet

Needing a manuscript breakaway
Talking with the crows at midday
Was a positive and relaxing way
To invigorate my book’s soporific survey

Wishing for a secretary or “Girl Friday”
Then I could sit back and replay
More “Bob Marley” reggae
Or even try my hand at crochet

G'day, and welcome to my blog site. My name is Ivor Steven, I live in Geelong, Australia. I'm an ex-industrial chemist, and a retired plumber, and a former Carer of my wife(Carole), for 30 years, who suffered from severe MS. I Write poetry about those personal thoughts, throughout and beyond my life as a Carer. I've been blogging for over 2 years, and writing poems for 19 years. Of course a lot of my poems are about my favourite subject Carole, but since I've been blogging my writings have become quite varied, humourous, mystical, observational, and even a few monster/horror poems.

    1. Comedy relief my dear friend … good news … I’ve just finished loading all poems into my “manuscript” … now for the preface, author Bio, Artist Bio, and then it’s off to my editor … my amazing niece (Kerri) has again agreed to do the cover design and Chapter illustrations 😍📖📘💙🌏

    1. Yeah… my manuscript is just like the birds, my pages are by one after another …. and I think plenty of walks and breaks keeps me from overthinking myself, Carolyn 📖📘😍🌏🦅🐶💕
