Yesterday evening I attended the opening of a unique Costume Exhibition, curated by Andrew Delaney, at the ‘Untether Gallery’ in Geelong. The transcripts about the show are attached below to help you understand what the “Frankenstein, Life, Death, Life” exhibition was about. In 1825 a play based on Mary Shelley’s infamous novel Frankenstein was staged in the Theatre Royale in Drury Lane. It was banned after only three performances and the costumes stored away …
The images below, are mine and were all taken at the event with the kind permission of Andrew Delaney.
In December, my poem, “Invincible Pieces” will be published in a strikingly noteworthy way at the Creative Geelong Makers Hub. An exquisite sign was expertly painted on the front glass door of The Third Space Gallery, 132 Little Malop St, Centrepoint Arcade, Geelong. … My poem is part of the “Damaged” Display, which includes “15″ artists’ interpretations of a broken ginger jar, over various disciplines. “bringing new life and finding beauty in the damaged and discarded”…
Today, I accompanied my friend Barb to Melbourne’s wonderful Lume Gallery to see the amazingly expansive exhibition of Leonardo Da Vinci’s unique and monumental display of his artistry, creativity, and ingenuity. Definitely, an opportunity that I was not going to miss out on, and I hope my photo/story conveys our fantastic experience of being mesmerized by the “Genius of Da Vinci”

On Friday evening I had the pleasure of being invited to the opening night of the ‘Group Art Exhibition’ at the “Space Gallery/Workshop”. For those in the Geelong Area, I thoroughly recommend you try and attend this outstanding display by our local artists. The Exhibition is open until February 25th. Below: I have attached several paintings/Artworks from my Catalogue, and I was fortunate enough to have some of the Artists sign my catalogue … they were all very charming and keen to chat about their exhibits, and a special thank you to my friend Jo Curtain, who invited me to this wonderful event.

Here I have only presented a small portion of the truly sensational Exhibition, and as an added bonus, I was allowed to bring ‘Frankie’ into the show with me, and appropriately he behaved himself perfectly.
Today I was invited to participate in a special poetry workshop where we could use one (or more) of the works of art on display as a prompt for the creation of a poetic response (the products of visual artists begetting products of a literary art!). The workshop was facilitated in situ at The Foundry Pottery Studio exhibition venue.
We have been given a few days to create our poems in response to the fascinating exhibition, and tonight I am presenting the photos I took at the rustic and interesting venue.
